Joanna Hill grew up in North Carolina and attended UNC-Chapel Hill. Later she earned a master’s degree in religious studies, focusing on the work of Emanuel Swedenborg, at the Bryn Athyn College Theological School. She spent over forty years in scholarly and non-profit publishing in book production and design, marketing, and executive positions. Her interest in Swedenborg’s works are an important part of her writing as well as other influences that focus on the spiritual aspects of life. She is currently living in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
