David G. Myers is a professor of psychology at Hope College. Psychology, his best-selling introductory psychology text, was recently published in its 12th edition. In addition to his social psychology scholarship, he writes on the relationship of psychological science to faith, and he has digested psychological research for the public through seventeen books, including books on happiness, intuition, hearing loss, and sexual orientation. A fellow of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, he is a trustee of the John Templeton Foundation and the Templeton World Charity Foundation and has served on JTF’s board of advisors.
