Andrew Michael Flescher, Author published by Templeton Press

Andrew Michael Flescher is a member of the core faculty for the program in public health at Stony Brook University, as well as professor of Family, Population, and Preventive Medicine and professor of English. He received a PhD in religious studies from Brown University in May 2000. He specializes in the field of contemporary religious thought, with a particular interest in comparative religious ethics and the theory and philosophy of religion. He was an associate professor of religious studies at California State University, Chico, where he directed the Center for Applied and Professional Ethics for five years. A United Network for Organ Sharing Ethics Committee member, he is the author of several books, including Moral Evil and Heroes, Saints, and Ordinary Morality, both from Georgetown University Press.
